Job description:

Within the Finance organisation, the Corporate Finance team is responsible for supporting OVHcloud growth through fundraising and acquisitions. In order to seize acquisition opportunities fast changing cloud industry, the team is looking for an M&A manager to contribute to the entire acquisition chain - from sourcing to post-merger integration. The position involves close partnership with all business units across the organisation and direct exposure to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a view of the key industry trends to drive company acquisition strategy (technology, competitors, consumers, regulatory, etc.)
  • Build and animate network of industry contacts: financial investors, investment banking and entrepreneurs/ industry executives to secure prime access to opportunities
  • Screen and assess potential acquisition opportunities: from deal flow or off radar targets, building investment cases in conjunction with the strategy, country and product teams
  • Conduct entire acquisition process, coordinating due diligence, target and synergies valuation, integration plans design, as well as deal negotiations
  • Coordinate with the integration teams on post-acquisition execution and reporting
  • Serve as a day to day valuable partner to executive leadership, business teams, and other corporate functions


 Skills & Profile:

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, as well as a solid accounting background
  • Attention for details without losing sight of the big picture
  • Excellent communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations and analyses to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable manner
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, pro-active and autonomous
  • Team player with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and business units
  • Strong and demonstrated interest in the technology industry
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English
  • Proficient in MS Office


Experience & Education:

  • 10 years+ of experience in corporate development, investment banking or similar roles, ideally with exposure to technology industry
  • Proven track record in leading teams to execute all aspects of transactions including direct experience in M&A negotiation, execution and integration
  • Master's degree from a leading business/engineering school (France) or university. MBA would be a plus
