Start-up Development Manager

About this role

As Startup Development Manager at OVH, you will identify the most promising startups and empower them through the OVHcloud Startup Program. You will support the commercial strategy for client startups by developing a deep understanding of their needs and expectations. This will involve monitoring their progress and developing our relationships with them over the long term, ensuring the solutions we deliver exceed their expectations.



Recruit and develop the startup network
  • Identify and attend key events, in order to recruit new start-ups for the program
  • Work closely with Communications and Marketing teams to promote the program through various channels (social networks, partnerships) across the region
  • Cultivate partnerships with VCs, incubators, and communities, in order to accelerate the recruitment process
  • Work with the OVH Support team in your assigned area to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process, with opportunity to upscale
  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding our full range of cloud solutions
  • Gather customer feedback, review and take appropriate actions to improve the customer experience and acted upon

Continuous improvement and achievement of business objectives
  • Monitor the regional start-up network (news, priorities, strategy, etc.) in order to identify its challenges, constraints and objectives, and identify new opportunities
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers though visits, presentations, sharing of market analysis, etc.
  • Document, track and develop eligible startups in our CRM, and deliver regular reporting on the program's performance
  • Assume responsibility for customers' eventual transition from the Startup Program to the Account Management team

Desired competencies
  • S ignificant experience working with startups and/or in the technology sector
  • Passion for technology and the startup ecosystem
  • Engaging speaker, adept in expressing complex ideas in clear and concise language
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strives in a fast-paced environment
  • A good understanding of cloud products is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of OpenStack and VMware is a plus



  • Proven experience in entrepreneurial roles
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and the startup lifecycle
